Our History
Rose Talbert was started in 1919 by W. H. Rose. His first plant was located on Daloz Drive in Columbia, SC. In 1973, the business was sold to Robert B. Walker Jr., whose family continues to run the business today. In 1976, the plant was relocated to the Cayce – West Columbia area for further expansion. Rose Talbert Paint Company was built off of the core values of providing a quality product, and exceptional service to our customers.
Rose Talbert Today
Today, Rose Talbert is owned and operated by brothers Bobby and Pope Walker, who have over 48 years of experience in the paint and coatings industry. Every can of paint that is produced in the Cayce, SC plant is handmade with the hands of our team in it from the formula behind the paint to the mixing, canning, and labeling of the final product. We are the paint experts, and we provide guidance to architects, paint contractors, businesses, and homeowners when it comes to finding the right paint for the job.
